I was lucky to work with dobro ccs team and create this set of effects for the Winline film. I feel like a Technical Director here, though in was also a creative work.
The main task was: "to develop the look and the style of the energy elements for the whole film, integrate them in the live action shots and/or use directly in CGI shots".
I developed multiple energy solutions for the different shots:
- legs trail energy
- ground heat waves
- massive solid objects energy
- small design elements.

In total, the main effect consists of approximately 8 different layers of the Houdini particle and pyro simulations, which are combined in AE. Each layer was researched and developed from scratch. In fact — most of the "certain effect" researching has led me to a dead end, BUT all of a sudden mixing them together gave me a desired result. Is this how art works?
